Appendix B, p. 353. Homeschool oversight and adult education may be handled by different agencies.

High school equivalency

Exams: GED

18 and the candidate’s class has graduated; ages 16–17 need the HSE eligibility/withdrawal process. Age 16 also requires adult-education verification of readiness.

Appendix C, p. 359, with official-source corrections where needed. Residency, withdrawal, identification, consent, and online versus test-center rules may also apply.

Source review

The printed appendices report a review date of October 20, 2026. Website source check: 2026-11-01.

USBE current guidance (revised August 2026) confirms one notice per child and explains post-HB209 changes; parents control instruction and districts may not evaluate/supervise. Reviewed page did not expressly state no statewide test, so that negative claim is not fully verified. GED age/class-graduation requirement and 16–17 withdrawal/readiness process match.

Sources can change after review. Confirm every deadline and requirement directly with the responsible agency before acting.
