Official statute supports DOE/local district notification. DOE alternative instruction guidance confirms one-time filing and updates within 30 days for specified transitions. Reviewed statute no longer prescribes routine standardized tests. GED 16–17 district-enrolled or Alternative Instruction waiver routes and minimum 18 match.
